Among the best of the many Western series from TV's Golden Era of the 1950s, Wanted: Dead or Alive was introduced as a pilot in 1958 and quickly gained notoriety. The series chronicled the adventures of bounty-hunter Josh Randall (Steve McQueen) as he pursued some of the West's most notorious villains — alive if possible, but dead if necessary. Though not bound to honor the edicts of the law, Josh adhered to a personal code of honor, like many other lone cowboy heroes of the era. He toted a specially designed weapon which he affectionately referred to as his "Mare's Laig" — a .40 gauge sawed-off carbine. In 94 episodes over three seasons, Wanted: Dead or Alive became one of television's most beloved Westerns. Featuring a faux bronze finish, this 1/3-scale premium polystone casting is made from the finest materials possible. More than three years in the making, Serenity: The Big Damn Replica, has been painstakingly crafted to be absolutely screen-accurate in every aspect. Years of intense effort have gone into all aspects of this model, from the model sculpture built from the movie special effects master files to the paint job created to match not just the colors of the ship, but the materials as well.
